These Frankfootas are ready to be the Food Network's next top dogs.
Three Brooklyn BFFs are representing the Big Apple in the fourth season of "The Great Food Truck Race" (Sunday, 9 p.m.), which takes eight teams of rookie vendors on a 4,000-mile road trip with $50,000 and the keys to their own truck on the line.
The Frankfootas will be dishing out the city's signature franks with an artisanal twist.
"Nothing represents New York better than a hot dog," says Dana Raja, 28, from Bensonhurst, who grew up with teammates Mirlinda Kukaj, 28, and Victoria Fiorenza, 24. "Name five things you remember when visiting New York, and a dirty-water dog is definitely one of them."
The Frankfootas take their street meat to the next level, from bacon-wrapped dogs with pulled pork to veggie varieties topped with hummus, chopped tomato, cucumber and onion.
"The end result is a finger-licking, messy dog that you just want all up in your face," says Raja.
Adrian Grenier from "Entourage" recently tweeted that he's a fan of their franks with the works.
While foes like Hawaii's Aloha Plate boys and St. Louis' Tikka Takka Taco truck were fierce, the New Yorkers found their toughest competition on the road was actually each other.

"It's one thing when you have a boss delegating what each of us has to do," says Raja, who waitressed with her besties at the Outback Steakhouse in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. "It's a completely different story when you have three bosses trying to tell each other what to do.
"It's the people who love each other the most that fight the most. How do we go into this race and come out still as friends?"
One possibility: Win.
"It would be amazing if Mayor Bloomberg gave us a key to the city," says Kukaj. "We could be local celebrities."
